Classroom Reward Bingo! ~ Great for student behavior while in special area classes. This can also be used for no dead chromebooks in the school day, smooth transitions in the classroom, hallway behavior, whatever works best in your classroom!
HOW TO:
- Buy a poster that you would like to draw your bingo board on.
- Apply any border you would like to the outer edge of the poster.
- Lay out the letters you would like to use on the top of the board (you do not have to glue them just yet) THERE ARE 3 DIFFERENT SIZES AVAILABLE IN THIS PRODUCT.
- When the letters are laid out determine how big of an area you are going to use for the bingo board itself [the boxes] (allow yourself about a half inch from the border you applied to the poster, unless you want them to be right up next to each other).
-Determine the length and height of the bingo area this will allow you to determine how big the boxes will be. *FYI: My boxes were 3 inches by 3 inches, so the total space was 15 in by 15 in.
-Take the length of the bingo area and divide by 5 (how many boxes need to be in each row) this will give you the length that each box of your bingo board needs to be. Use a pencil and ruler to sketch the lines for your board.
-Then take the height of the bingo area and divide by 5 (how many boxes need to be in each column) this will give you the height that each box of your bingo board needs to be.
-After the lines of the board are sketched go over the lines with a dark marker (I used black).
-I used my Cricut to cut out the numbers for each box, but you can print out the numbers in this product ( I HAVE TWO DIFFERENT SIZES AVAILABLE) or you can use a permanent marker if that is easier just to write the numbers.
-Glue down the word “BINGO” at the top of the board and glue the numbers inside each box.
-Laminate poster.
-Puncture a hole at the top of each box with an Exacto knife or pushpin to make a little hole. I fed a paperclip through it to be able to hold each bingo chip under when they were awarded. However, you can used push pins, magnets, it all depends where you plan on hanging your poster.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions on how to setup or use your bingo poster in your classroom. ENJOY!
